I started making art before I can remember, I am insatiably drawn to it. My inspiration comes from anything that grabs my attention which I then draw into the pieces I'm working on, this is normally anything from the natural world and mythologies that stem from it.

​

Prior to becoming a full time artist I was a biologist (and am still fascinated by all living things and the way they interact). I am also fascinated with developments in renewable energy and spend some of my time growing carnivorous plants of all shapes and sizes.
