ILEX ECO ART

Ilex Eco sculpture was started in order to bridge the gap between art and nature and to make me feel happier in my garden.

 

I've always enjoyed seeing animals and plants colonising areas of towns where they've slowly overgrown the concrete and built miniature ecosystems.

My work hopefully brings a more visually stunning way to achieve the same effect.

All my artworks are created on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon and are often inspired by the local wildlife, legends and history. In my spare time I am turning my garden into a mini nature reserve and am also trying to build myself a chunk of tropical Borneo in a greenhouse.
